How does hypnosis work?
Your mind works on two levels, conscious and unconscious. You think, make decisions and act mainly with your conscious mind. The unconscious mind is what controls your habits. Hypnosis helps you achieve a deeply relaxed state where you can program your unconscious mind.

Can I be hypnotized?
Anyone that wants to be can be hypnotized.

How will I know I'm hypnotized?
Many people actually can't tell the difference between a hypnotized state and a "waking" state. In fact, you may simply feel deeply relaxed. But at the end of the first session I will prove to you that you where hypnotized.

Can I be too strong-willed to be hypnotized?
Many people believe only weak-minded or gullible people can be hypnotized. In fact, the reverse is true, intelligent and strong-willed individuals are generally very successful with hypnosis. Success with hypnosis has little to do with willpower. Rather, it relies on your ability to use your imagination, listen and follow directions.

Is hypnosis safe?
Hypnosis is 100% safe. You're always in control because all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis. The side effects are that you may find you sleep better and feel less stress!

Will my insurance cover this?
We do not accept insurance at Florida Hypnosis. However some insurance companies do cover hypnosis services. You'll need to check with your insurance provider. You pay first and then you submit to your insurance company.
